About Us

EcuaFina literally means: the finest products from Ecuador. These products are made from soft alpaca wool include plaids, sweaters, hats, and even necklaces. Traditionally, these products are made by the Quichua Indigenous who live in the Andes mountains and make a living by trading homemade merchandise.

Rebecca Braak, the founder of EcuaFina, believed that these beautiful products could also enrich many American & European households. This is where the idea for her own store started to develop. Rebecca is in direct contact with the weavers and artesanos. She visits the communities multiple times a year to ensure the high quality of the products and to design new products together with the Ecuadorian craftsmen and women.
